Up and motivated today which is unusual for me, but hey the sun was shining and what a scorcher!
I didn't see much of Katie today, she was hanging around the park with her friends, so I managed a walk today.
Slimfast for my dinner, left my house at 1130, had a mars bar on the way round. Passed near Symons house, so I thought I'd pop round and see him, he wasn't in, but Renee was outside so I had a lovely coffee and a natter with her.
After half hour I left and went to Tesco, saw Michael Leaning who I went to school with, and had a little natter with him too...
I got home at 3.30, absolutely knackered and had too much sun.
I had Scampi and chips for my tea, and half a carton of Hagan Daaz cookies and cream ice cream, hey it's on offer.
Had a lovely surprise Symon came round, and we watched Rockstar and Swordfish.
So it was a lovely day of different things and seeing different people.

My Day My Diet (21/4/11)
I've only gone and got down into the next stone down, what a big relief when I got on the scales.
Didn't do any form of exercise at all, after 4 days of walking, I needed a rest.
My diet (sort of) Slimfast, a packet of soft mints. Then for tea I had mash, beans and toad in the hole, which I only had half, blinking awful. Oh yes I also had a cupcake.
Scorcher today, so just sat in the garden reading a book, a chilling day.
A walk tomorrow is on the cards.
My Day My Diet (20/4/11)
One of these days I will have a good day lol.
For starters finished the rest of the apple crumble, I then went out for a 3 hour walk, saw my friend Nikki on my travels. Half way round I had a roast chicken sandwich just to fuel up, for some reason I feel faint half way round.
I then came home and trimmed my bush.
I went to Sy's, had Chicken Supreme with rice and a chocolate eclair.
Scales tomorrow, after 9 hours walking in 4 days, I'd better lose some weight.

My Day plus My Diet (19/4/11)
My first day off at work, and what a gorgeous day it was.
Got up at 10am, and decided to go for a 3 hour walk, and absolutely loved it, it was scorching and I had a mp3 player with great music on, it didn't feel that long.
I had a boost on the way round, I didn't have no milk, so couldn't have my Slimfast or cereals. I normally feel faint half way round, I did the right thing this time, and took a drink.
Katie had a friend round, pinched a slither of garlic bread, and Symon came round, so I had Chicken with blue cheese in with cheese sauce, roast potatoes and mushrooms, then Apple Crumble and custard in which I had half, eat the other half tomorrow.
Had a great night with Sy, looked through old photos, and watched some CSI's all with great story lines, they have to have a good storyline, I lose interest pretty quickly if they don't.
Hopefully get to do another walk tomorrow, I need to lose the weight before Summer so I can fit into my pretty dresses what I wore last year.

My Diet (18/4/11)
I am writing this with pegs in my eyes...I haven't eaten properly at all.
I woke up latish had a Slimfast for my dinner, finished my chocolate stash at work, which was about a couple of handfuls of chocolate, I was really busy at work. I finish work for a week, and wanted to get everything finished, so I was running around like a headless chicken.
Came home, did an 1.5 hour walk, then my friend came round, she left at 10pm, just nipped to Tesco, so grabbed a roast chicken sandwich and a packet of monster munch for my tea.
I am absolutely shattered.

My Diet (Day 5 17/4/11)
I started off with the best intentions.
Woke up at Symon's about 9.30, we went gallivanting around in the car, looking for cars, right up till about 4.00. In this time I had a handful of grapes.
I got home about 6.00, had a Slimfast, then I went for an 1.5 hour walk with Kaz.
Decided I better get something to eat, went to my local shop. I bought a medium baguette and had Tuna, sweetcorn and mayo baguette, then I saw Hagan Daaz ice cream on offer, I'm a sucker for ice cream, so I bought some and ate the full tub.
Feeling guilty now, it's my * week coming up in the next day or so...I always crave sweet things more then usual....
I hope I do better tomorrow, work and a walk tomorrow night is on the cards.

Erm a few hiccups today, but I did manage to stop myself from going over the top.
Woke up about 10am, after having the most terrible night sleep.
I had a Slimfast for dinner. I have the chocolate one, it stops my cravings.
I walked around to the club to my nieces birthday party, in which I had a great time.
I ate 4 sandwiches (equivalent to 2 round of bread) with egg and ham in, and ONE chocolate cupcake, and that's it, I could have been a pig and ate biscuits etc.
I then went home, a bit later, I wasn't sure I was having any tea, I didn't have anything in the house, there was 2 packets of multi pack crisps, and I say multi pack as these are smaller then normal crisps, so I hate both.
I then went to Symon's, we ended up having a Chinese. Chicken Chow Mien, which is one of the lowest calorie Chinese meal on the menu, but I did have chips with them. I hate half the chow mien and a few chips.
See how the next day goes.

Abbie's 5th Birthday Party
Today was my Niece's birthday party, a whopping 5 going on 50, unfortunately I forgot to take my headache pills before I went.
Hurray for Mr Shiny, 1 hour of silence, and I must admit he was very good. Where he drew a picture, the eyes and mouth moved, then he just tore the sheet off and gave it to a little girl, very intriguing.
Once the hour was over, that's when I needed the headache tablets, don't get me wrong I love kids, just not "screaming for no reason"kids. I never allowed mine to scream around the room.
It was a lovely afternoon, it was nice to be with Mark on my own for awhile, we both had the task of musical statues, and we had a great laugh doing it. I should spend more time with Mark, I miss him.

My Diet (Day 3)
As I'm writing this I'm absolutely starving.
I've had a alright day today.
I woke up at 7.30, played on my laptop and read by book till 11am, by this time I was really hungry. So I had a Slimfast for my dinner.
Went to work, I was really busy, Donna was poorly and not in so I was helping Ann Marie. Had a crafty 2 mini eggs from my drawer, still a few choccies in there, I'm doing well.
About 6:45 I had my tea, which was the same as last night, Spaghetti etc. it tasted better then last nights for some reason. I then went on a 1.5 hour walk, which was lovely. Met up with with my Daughter and her friend Jake.
Don't know what's wrong at the mo.....feels like something isn't right? let you know when I put my finger on it..
Not sure how my diet will go tomorrow, I am at my Niece's birthday party, birthday party = party food? will I be tempted....a little nibble won't hurt....

Project 365
Since January I have been doing a project were I take and post a photo a day.... I've actually done quite well in getting this far, as I get bored very quickly. Some days I can find something to take a photo, other days I totally go blank.

Slimming World Curry from Gareth
This is absolutely gorgeous and I'm going to give it a go
Ingredients
1lb diced chicken/lamb
2 onions, chopped
2 peppers, chopped
Punnet of mushrooms, chopped
1 square inch piece of ginger, finely chopped
5 cloves of garlic, crushed
1-2 chillies (dependent on heat preference), finely sliced
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp of garam masala
2 tbsp of paprika
2 tbsp of ground cumin
2 tbsp of ground turmeric
Seeds from 2 cardomom pods
2 chicken stock cubes
Basmati rice (to serve)
Fry light
Optional: Handful of chopped coriander (to decorate)Optional: low fat natural yoghurt
Spray a casserole pot liberally with Fry light and add the vegetables. Fry on a medium heat until the onions become transluscent.
Stir in the chillies, garlic and ginger and stir for about 2 minutes.
Turn the heat to its lowest and add all of the spices. Stir until all the vegetables are coated.
Add the diced meat and stir for about 3 minutes.
Stir in the chopped tomatoes and add a pint of hot chicken stock and stir around until evenly mixed.
Turn the heat up to full until the curry starts to boil; at which point turn heat to its lowest to allow curry to simmer.
Leave to simmer for 40 minutes, at which point, put the rice on to boil.
Once cooked take pot off the heat and add yoghurt if required (about 4 tbsp) and stir in well.
Sprinkle fresh chopped coriander over the curry if required and serve with rice.

My Diet (Day 2)
Just for the record, the lemon meringue pie never went past my lips! not unlike someone Else's...I'm sorry I had to get that in.
Bit disappointed today, with my diet, a few hiccups but nothing major.
For starters I went back to bed after leaving Symon's, as I was knackered...2 foxes decided to have a rant on his front, then I couldn't get back to sleep again....so I didn't get up till 11am, so I missed breakfast.
So I had a Slimfast for dinner.
I went to work, very busy, I managed not to eat my chocolate stack in my bottom drawer, until 2 minutes before I left work, where I pinched 2 mini eggs.
I then went to my Mums, as Katie popped in, so I picked her up. My Mum, bless her, saved me a cappuccino truffle, so I ate that, I had to she saved me it..and it would be impolite not to eat it.
I went home, in which I became really really hungry, then scooted off to Slimming World...and found out I lost 3.5lb...yippee!
At Slimming World, a few people fetched some tasters in, Gareth fetched Curry, which was absolutely gorgeous, so he's emailed me the recipe...Helen fetched sponge cake, and Amanda fetched strawberry cake, I must add that these where all low calorie food, and I only sampled a couple of mouthfuls of each.
I came home had spaghetti, mince, tomatoes covered with Parmesan cheese, with 3 slices of warm bread..tut tut...and Kate had made some cakes so I had a rice crispy cake.
So a few hiccups....a walk tomorrow night is on the cards.
Exercise for today is zilch..I haven't had time.....

My Diet (Day 1)
Argh.... I need to get a grip...I belong to Slimming World, I've been there a few years now. I was nearly 14 stone and just about to get into a size 18, then I managed to get down to 10 stone 4 size 12..but over the last months I have put a stone on. NO WAY do I want to go up into the next size up, as my dress felt tight last night...plus I'm thinking of all the nice summer gear from last year when I was skinny.
So I need a kick up the arse...so I thought if I do a blog telling you what I've been eating...why I ate the wrong stuff etc etc...plus it gives me something to do, if I turn peckish/bored...as we all know boredom = food. I will also put down my keep fit regime on here too. We'll see if it works or not.
So today is the 1st day of not fannying about, I get weighed tomorrow, and see from there.

Breakfast: Oat So Simple
I then went for a 3 hour walk, half way through my walk I felt dizzy so bought a Boost bar.... this worked.
When I got home I had a Slimfast.
I know what I'm having for tea as I cooked it yesterday... Tuna Pasta Bake... I did buy Lemon Meringue Pie for me and Sy, I never had any last night, and won't be having any tonight either....
If I've sinned I'll let you know tomorrow.....

Photography
I've had plenty of hobbies over the years, but it's only recently, when I've been travelling around the country with Sy, ( he is an amateur photographer and very very good), that I've had a dabble of photography, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it... 99% of my photos are not very good mind you, but the odd one I'm impressed with if I may say so myself.
Starting with just my little Samsung mobile phone camera, with very little mega pixels... I upgraded to a Fujifilm Finepix and recently upgraded to my Samsung WB600 camera..... which I love..the colours on it are fantastic and needs very little editing. One day when I win the lottery. .lol.. I shall get myself a proper camera with the proper lenses.
Anyway the picture above was took on my hold Fujifilm, it was taken at Hoobers Stand in Wentworth, a 30 metre folly.... at dusk... which to me is my favourite time of day.

Sunday 10th April 2011
What a great way to start the day....waking up in the arms of the one you love....and it wasn't early either, a late 10am....for us anyway.
A chilled out day of sunbathing, in which I have strap marks...which is rather naughty has I didn't have any suncream on...and I'm a stickler for the stuff, I have about 10 bottles in my cupboard...I usually cake myself in it.
Then Symon's lovely nephew and niece came over, in which Symon decided to erect the tent, so they can play in it...but hey ho they decided to go.....at least the cat enjoyed time out in it.
A quick trip to B&Q so Symon could get some compost for his triffids, but really they are pumpkins.....they look like evil little things....Venus fly trap comes to mind...better watch them cats Sy....especially if they get ravenous
Then we went for a meal at The Jug And Bottle...rather disgusted you don't get free ice cream anymore.....AND they upped the prices...cheeky so and sos....I love the ice cream too! don't know if the Roast Pork and the Pork Scratching are a long term thing.
Then to wear it off, I went for an hour and half long walk with Kaz, my brother's girlfriend, it didn't seem that long, we just talked and talked and talked....so that was my bit of socialising...
A nice warm bath, and now I am tucked up ready for bed....refreshed for my work tomorrow..but hey 9-5 then two days off....I can't grumble with that.....

The Beach
What a great day for a walk on the beach...the sun is shining, cool fresh air, the tide had just been in....why do we hold a fascination of the beach when the sea goes out?....are we hoping to find some sort of artifact that as been washed up? anyway I didn't find any.....maybe I should have took my metal detector.....I managed to take a load of piccies though.....I now have a clear head.....
